New food forest in Germany!

Life Terra aims to enable people who show initiative to green their environment, improve the quality of ecosystems and involve their local communities in this kind of climate action.

Moritz, a master’s student of agricultural economics contacted Life Terra a few months ago with his idea to create a food forest at his friend’s Demeter farm in the south of Germany that is also going to be an evolving field lab and a potential destination for school field trips.

Friends, family, neighbors and other supporters came to learn about the project. Over the course of a few days, finishing up this Easter weekend, the volunteers planted a biodiverse mix of certified organic shrubs and trees, created climbing supports for the young plants and prepared garden beds.

At Life Terra, we are excited about the long-term development of this project and happy to support a replicable model. Don't hesitate to get in touch with us to explore ideas together!
