The European Tree Planting Day: Second Edition Launch
From mid-October to mid-December 2025, thousands of people across Europe will come together with a common purpose: planting trees for a healthier planet. Life Terra Foundation and Nadace Partnerství are proud to announce the second edition of European Tree Planting Day, a continent-wide movement designed to inspire collective climate action.
A Growing Movement
Last year, the first edition of European Tree Planting Day exceeded all expectations. More than 240,000 trees were planted in over 400 events across 19 countries, thanks to the efforts of schools, municipalities, NGOs, companies, and engaged citizens.
And this year, we want to go even further. The coordinated events will not only contribute to climate resilience and biodiversity, but also showcase the strength of united action across Europe.

Planting Seeds of Awareness
We believe tree planting goes beyond environmental action; for us and our partners, it is an opportunity to learn, connect, and take responsibility for the future. For Nadace Partnerství, one of the co-organisers, this focus on participation and awareness is essential:
“Our goal is to empower people, especially youth, to take action that matters. We want to repeat the success of last year and continue to raise climate and environmental awareness.”
Who Can Join?
The initiative is open to everyone. Schools, municipalities, businesses, NGOs, or simply concerned citizens all are invited to host or join a planting event. Whether it’s adding greenery to a schoolyard, restoring a local park, or planting new forests, every contribution counts.
