Centres per la Sostenibilitat Castelló (CeSCa)

Centres per la Sostenibilitat Castelló (CeSCa) is a network of educational centres in the province of Castellón committed to promoting sustainability, environmental awareness, and climate action. Through hands-on learning experiences and community involvement, CeSCa supports schools in integrating environmental education into their daily practices and long-term vision.

In 2023, CeSCa partnered with Life Terra to organise over 15 tree planting events across the region. These events engaged students, teachers, and local communities in meaningful climate action on the ground. The educational activities were made possible thanks to the collaboration of the Regional Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports and the Regional Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development, Climate Emergency and Ecological Transition, who coordinated the initiative and provided the trees. This joint effort exemplifies the power of partnerships in fostering environmental stewardship and sustainability education.
