Companhia das Lezírias

Companhia das Lezírias is a public company dedicated to sustainable land use and nature conservation in the Tagus Estuary region, near Lisbon. It manages extensive agricultural, forestry, and natural areas, integrating environmental protection with local development.

In collaboration with Life Terra, Companhia das Lezírias has hosted several tree-planting initiatives aimed at restoring native ecosystems and fostering environmental awareness. Events have included plantings supported by corporate partners such as C&A, which celebrated its 30th anniversary in Portugal by establishing the “Bosque C&A,” and educational activities involving students from Porto Alto. These actions contributed to biodiversity enhancement, climate resilience, and hands-on environmental education, with the support of local authorities and institutions.
