Movistar Team
The Movistar Team (UCI team code: MOV) is a professional road bicycle racing team that participates at the UCI WorldTeam level and has achieved 13 general classifications (GC) victories in Grand Tours. The title sponsor is the Spanish mobile telephone company Telefónica, with the team riding under the name of the company's brand Movistar.
As part of the Movistar team's efforts to lower and offset its carbon footprint, we planted 1,000 trees for them together with our partner Forestmatic in the winter of 2021. The cyclists participated in a friendly team-building event in Navarra and helped plant a few trees as well.
