(R)Forest Project
The Reforest Project Foundation is a non-profit organisation founded in 2019 by Fernando Ojeda with the purpose of combating climate change through afforestation and reforestation of degraded areas. Its motto, ''global change begins with individual change'' reflects its focus on collective and individual action to achieve a positive environmental impact.
In addition to its main reforestation activity, Reforest Project has promoted other complementary initiatives such as: Reforest Ocean, aimed at cleaning plastics from rivers, seas and oceans; Reforest Goat, promotes transhumance as a preventive measure against forest fires; Beeforest Project, promotes biodiversity through the installation of pollinator stations in reforested forests; and Reforest Soul, an initiative that seeks to combine reforestation with social inclusion, offering job opportunities to people at risk of exclusion.
