Rijkswaterstaat
Rijkswaterstaat is part of the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management. It is the government agency responsible for the practical design, construction, management, and maintenance of the Netherlands' main infrastructure. In essence, Rijkswaterstaat is the engineering body that executes the famous Dutch expertise in water management and spatial planning, literally keeping the country "above water" and connected.
Rijkswaterstaat collaborates with Life Terra by allowing us to plant on areas next to highways that can use trees to help reduce noise and particulate matter and increase biodiversity.
